Created through Decree Nº. 8597/2005 and regulated its article 26 through Law Nº. 11,898/2008.
The Green Free Trade Zone was created by the Federal Government to encourage the production of industrialized products from predominantly regional raw materials.
It grants tax exemption benefits such as :
Tax on Industrialized Product (Imposto sobre Produto Industrializado – IPI)
Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (Imposto sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços– ICMS)
