ENERGY POTENTIAL

Amapá has been connected to the National Interconnected System - SIN, since 2015, and through the Linhão de Tucurí it exports 940 MW of energy generated in 4 hydroelectric plants.

Our capital, Macapá, is known as the capital of the middle of the world, cut by the imaginary Equator Line, it has a privileged location due to the solar incidence, favoring the development of the generation of photovoltaic solar energy, the State still counts on a photovoltaic panel factory contributing for energetic autonomy in a clean and sustainable way the factories and industries, providing in the long run a significant saving in the fixed costs of their businesses.
